L8 and 1000cc injectors will cover 650+ bhp. No need to go for stand alone unless you need the extra functionallity.

Speak to Stu or Karl and save your money for something more important.

Nothing more important than your ECU, Autronic proven Top quality.
Mr. Cowie would only choose the best as would I.

this is nothing more important than an ecu, but a standard ecu is fine in 95% of the cases

i would say stick with an l8 or p8, and who otld you you have to change the ecu? your tuner who cant map a standard unit

To be fair on the pub talker up until recently a standard ecu was only good enough for 400 ish bhp.......

Reason....

greys the largest injector available....

8 injector ecu aint a standard ecu

So he might just not know new information with low impedance high flowing injectors

i think standalone would be the way to go BUT not necessary
but the cost of getting it mapped RIGHT is around the same as standalone

standard ECU is good for 99999999999bhp

there's not "this is god for XXXbhp" when it comes to ECUs

the stdn cossie ECUs are superior to most of teh cheap aftermarket stuff anyway, and the pukka aftermarket stuff only really offers more FEATURES and EASIER mapping rather than anything else.

3 door ecu's are level 1 , might well be a very good idea to update it to L8 or p8 for that power. Mate put his 3 door onto l6 from L1, and just that was night and day after STU@MSD had his paws on it

His reason is hes a Mr. Cowie lick-bum.
Also i think it's better to have injectors more then capable then injectors maxed out giving the same power.
