I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
I'd like to finish my XR2 by end of April when the MOT is up on the RST so I'll have a car to use while I take the RST off the road, before then I need to......
Finish off all the welding
Get the underneath all undersealed
Respray
Wheel Refurb
RR Tune
When the MOT runs out the S2'll come off the road untill the summer and will be treated to ....
New Header tank to replace the one that was sprayed blue by someone
Full Respray
Wheel refurb
Mongose Exhaust
Front mounted intercooler
Alloy rad (possibly)
RR Tune
They'll never be finished
Lee

I no what you mean about knowing someone you can trust.
the company doing mine is only 100 yards from my workshop so i can keep as eye on things. I no them very well and they are first class

Fit suspension
Fit engine, box and shafts
Fit gas
Fit aquamist
Fit defis
Make up boost and coolant pipework
Make the wiring loom
Fit the dash and gauges
Fit buckets and harnesses
Run fuel system through
Fit management
Check everything
Fire it up!

Karl is doing me some new speck cams the sames going in his engine
So im exited to see what changes they make
He has also had some new engine parts made and im also fitting them ,
Thing is i have to take the engine out to do it all and its a
BALL ACHE

Hmm Hoping to get the engine bought and fitted, fuel lines renewed in aeroquip and the rest of the electrics tidied and sorted. Once running it will be driven like I stole it and and weak points sorted before drift practice at the end of the year I was hoping to get to NURBURGRING next September but may put that off till I know the car works (and I know the car ahem)Then no doubt steering mods as I run out of lock
and L8 wasted spark and Closed loop.and in 2007...

Mark - don't worry too much about renewing those fuel lines in aeroquip.
The ones in the car were Ford motorsport items (standard 909 fit), and replacing them with aeroquip (unless you're going PTFE lined) wont make any difference.
