I work for an executive airline. Lots of rich people flying about today.

I caught the train to work this morning, trains run as normal over xmas here. The trains are still run by the government, not penny pinching private firms you see.

Yeah am in work today, 12 - 10 double time though, agreed to work xmas day due to me being on the Rota for it anyway, told them that if somebody pulled a sicky on Boxing Day, or New Years Eve night however that I wasnt to be contacted...so they put me down for a 12-10 New Years Day to save hassle

Not too bad though, means I can go out with the lads all day tomorrow and also New Years Eve, because Im only workin 2 other shifts - Thursday and Friday this week as well (both only 5 hour shifts 4-9 too so not too bad...managed to persuade them into giving me short shifts due to working Xmas Day, because I was technically on the rota for 2.30-9.30 both days )
