Default Just found out I won't be taking car to TRAX :(

Yup, car still hasn't been touched and won't be until next week

Why do I fooking bother eh?
I missed my slot because of a monkey of a friend and I now want to punch his lights in

I could have had another slot with Martin Hadland but after converstaions with Sarah and Steve at A1 Rallysport I got the positive impression it would be ready before TRAX

Ah well, anyone else want to kick me when I'm down??

TRAX was gonna be the only show this year to be at in me car, why does this always have to happen to me?

If it were a 500bhp Cossie, it'd be fixed within hours PMSL, all that power and tuning just for people to look at it - what's the fucking point I ask??

Rolls and Mcpikie, cheers

I know people who go mad just to get cars tuned etc for being on stand space at a show, its NOT MOVING is it LOL

I mean going mad with cossies to get them all powered up just for show, its a show, not a TOTB session

Dont worry mate I'm in the same predicament. Had my car towed up to crawley for a close friend of mine to fix a head gasket, has turned into 2 cracked pistons and shot rings. This is only after 4000 miles after having it built by a repatable company. The same company that set the car up which is a 245 bhp motor without even a lambda sensor. I think they tested the air/fuel by smell.....

I'm sure this is what done it as wasn't ragged even slightly after that..

no trax for moi

James Some of the reason your car is not ready could be that steve has had a lot of problems with my car, he built the engine and put it in and there was a problem with it. so out comes the engine and complete strip again, this took up a lot of there time this week, so be easy on them,

Ming, A1 aren't monkeys at all, don't think that
They are one hell of a company and that's why I chose to take my car there

Speaking of Mike R's stuff, discussion arose about ACT gauges and how people wire them up wonr g and then say it only lit for 10 seconds then didnt work LOL

Nightmare On the bonus side it's only Thurday, Traxs is Sunday isn't it?

Get yourself down there with some mates who are good with the spanners, and fit em yourself assuming you have the brakes

Plenty of time yet matey

I work all day Fridays literally 8am - 9pm

Useless with tools also, or I'd have not snapped the bloody bleed nipple in the first place that caused all this mess

Well, you must have a cold coming on or something?

If they said they would do it, and they genuinely have had plenty of time and the parts have been there, then they shouldn't mind to much you rescuing the car?

Have a ring round for a local garage, fitting brakes isn't specialist like most things on a RST? Not Quick Fit though, it would get animalised

I'm having an AP 330mm front upgrade with a rear disc conversion, not specialist????

The bells on the front have to be machines/modified as they won't sit under my MOMO's

I trust A1 to do a good job, I'll leave them to it
