Default Question for women regarding hair straighteners

Which ones are the best basically, need to get some for my girlfriend for christmas. ghd is obviosuly a name that springs up but there are so many bloody models.

She has blonde relatively normal hair, not thin or think if that helps and isn't desperately curly when left unstraightened.

There is a model made by GHD that goes under a different name, try a Google for it, they are less than half the price of GHD's but better apparently.

I know too much.

Edit: Here you go....

Also worth, googling GHD as I know they had a big problem with older models catching fire. was on watchdog a while back.

I got some for my missus and cost 80 quid.

GHD are supposed to be the best, but you could get cheaper version - as long as they are solid ceramic - think Babyliss doing some good ones at the mo

i paid £100 for my GHD's 2yrs ago and theyre still spot on, though lee had to solder them last year cos they stopped working, everyone reckons there are some that are as good as GHD's on ebay for about £30, the feedback suggested the same, but i havent tried them so cant comment, GHD's are defo the fastest though heating up time etc, well worth the money imo

Just bought my girlfriend some GHDs off ebay for Xmas. £86 delivered.
Hope I get 'em in time for Christmas?

Saw 'em in the shops for £95 or a special edition version with handbag and oils for £135.

She already has a set of GHDs but they are not working properly. Wire connection to them is dodgy and they cut out from time to time. Hope these new ones are better. they are Mk3.1b model.

If you have hair longer than an inch it'll get caught in the front and sucked in the back..your hair will burn and you'll have a plug dragging on the floor

Kill two birds with one stone. Get her an iron and that way she can iron your shirts at the same time she does her hair.
