Dan,

I think T4's only make sense if you are going to push them hard I. E. use them with lots of boost (2 BAR held minimum)........Otherwise I think you will only be unhappy with the lag and narrow power-band on your engine spec.

Why not hold on until a nice T38 comes along at the right price to make better use of those grey injectors and 7.8:1 comp ratio?

Dave then you not got a very effcient engine 2bar youd really want to be seeing 480bhp and seeing as greys shit out at around 440bhp i can say this

...although i guess at 2bar on a std head and cams youd be 420 max.

Phil,

it was rolling roaded at 429, so not too far away if the greys are maxing out.

all standard engine wise too.

not that bad imo.

This is what I was saying to Dan with my first reply, he'd be better off with a T38 and decent boost spike live mapped in........

OR.....changing the whole engine spec to be a proper match for the "cheap" T4 he's being offered.........trouble is, it then works out as being a very expensive T4

I may know of a T38 for sale

Possibly. Your comp ratio and greys would work nicely with a T38 - get a healthy 430-440bhp and less lag than a cheap T4.

T4's rock..

I personally thought my car was awesome.. I drove it hard and I loved the top end pull and power.

It prevented me killing myself in my car and kept my licence.

You need a lot of room to pick up speed and come on boost so theres no point caining it around all the time.. only really worth it on open roads and long dual test tracks.

THat price for a brand new one seems quite resonable to me as well.
