lol ok here we go

click start icon, click all programmes, click accessories, then click system tools, then click system restore, choose a date that had previous internet version installed

be careful if you have done anything important on your pc, as data will be lost when you restore

Hi Sidewayz

Dont bother with roll backing your settings.

Open up IE.
Click on >Tools >Intenet options >Advanced

Scroll down to Multimedia.
Uncheck the first box "Always use Cleartype for HTML.

This will revert you back to normal font - just like we have had for years without complaint!!!

Its like Vauxhall and BM deciding that we needed auto indicators....why!!!!

I've just reverted to IE6 - since "upgrading" to 7 I've lost count of the number of times its been "unable to connect".

I also found it difficult to organise favourites from one folder to another under the new version, though I'll confess that I didn't spend ong trying to figure it out - I don't want to do it often and it should be pretty sef-explanatory!

Instead of being an early-adopter, I think I'll wait till Microsoft get rid of some more bugs in this new, improved version.

the best way would be to uninstall IE7 altogether, ignore any further IE updates and install firefox 2.0 - its free, it works better and looks better

and its much more secure than IE

having not used IE7 as it didnt work properly on my pc, firefox is a definate winner over ie6, and by all accounts, IE7 is just playing catchup to firefox, as some of the NEW featues of IE are old hat and standard in firefox
