Default HAV I FITTED MY DADS TURBO DAMPER RIGHT ??? UPDATED

As above hav i fitted it right cos i dont no if the bolt and nuts should be the other way round ???

Jaiz.......

The two large washers with the raised centres go onto the bracket on the turbo.......The raised centre bits sit in the large hole in the bracket and the the bolt goes through the rose joint straight into the washers with the nut on the back.....

I mean how much tension are you supposed to put on it?

The original damper was a bit of a pain to set properly (2WD) and these are the same I believe, it's not just a case of sticking it on to look nice, it needs to supprt the turbo properly.

i thought you let the car warm up then adjust to tight then back half a turn? but maybe wrong....

there is a process as mentioned above to fit them 'properly'...but they don't work properly anyway,they just look nice

yer i let the car warm up first and to day we was out and a bout and it is making a rattle noise etc... and and makes the car sort of shake when on boost is that right 2

the spherical bearings expand when hot,but when cold they rattle about....i had one snap the bracket on the turbo which is an arse to replace i'm not a big fan of the bailey one tbh

it looks like a 4wd head anyway from the pictures,so your a little limited in what you can fit,but it's defo better than nothing with the 2wd manifold as you say

Spec-R make a bracket so you can use a RS500 kit on 4x4 head

never heard it rattle mate.

Also i didnt fit it - my mechanic did so no idea how its done.

mine aint manufactured by Bailey either - not sure who its by but it looks the same.
