yes, its a vega with some cosworth development,,,,,, it was sold in the states and all the ones over hear are imports

thats hanging

I first heard about these approx 10 years ago.

did some digging and found they were a 2 litre NASP, and got bored lol

They are a 16v unit, so they could probably lend them selves to some power as well

years ago they were put into other cars,used in motorsport.
probably cos it was cheeper than a bda bdg bdx etc.
they were usually described as being a poor engine.
a few were put in rallycross cars

Those don't have a very good reputation over here. The Vega was generally a crappy car, and there was something about those engines... maybe unsleeved aluminum blocks? I don't remember... but something made them fragile, and hard to fix.
