Default After Market Management.

Evening all. Im interested in the after market management you are running on your cars. Preferably with some pro's and con's of each.

I am looking to swap over the MEM's on my Resto car to some thing like DTA.

Would be nice if any of the tuners had any feedback on after market options.

Are there many tuners who are able to map this?
I downloaded the sw and while its all PC based programming I have none of the equipment to monitor my car to MAP.

Emerald is plug and play with the rover MEMs system IIRC

http://www.emeraldm3d.com/

Mark

edit to add

The system is fully plug-compatible with the Rover MEMS system as fitted to the 'K' series Rover unit used in the Caterham Seven and Lotus Elise. The software provides 32 speed sites(up to 15,500RPM) and 16 load sites with tailored load site grouping, allowing super sensitive mapping around part throttle to improve drivability. The injection software provides the same number of load sites and speed sites, and also allows for cranking enrichment, acceleration fuelling adjustment, cold start correction, water and air temperature correction to both fuelling and ignition settings and Lambda sensor feedback. Map trimming can be done both 'on the fly' - dialing in timing and fuelling settings while the engine is running, or on a download basis.

I sucessfully run emerald without any problems whatsoever. Dave Walker looks after mine

The DTA S60 is getting good reviews, The E48 is a proven field runner, and the S80 and S100 are still being worked on

the new emerald ecu as featured in a pull out in this months practical performance car magazine looks very good for the price. and the price for mapping by the legend that is dave walker is also very reasonable and is close by to you (watton in norfolk)

Emerald now fully installed on my car, latest K3 one.

from what i can make out it seems good! certainly for the money it costs.

mapping software is the bit that needs a bit more development with emerald though,
apparently! (ask chip lol)

Emerald wont run anti-lag though, dunno if you would be interested in that though!

Emerald DOES run anti lag, as well as TC, LC etc.
Suffolk is not far from Watton, so worth a drive, he must do at least five rover lumps a week, he really rates the engines, he is even having a 1.9 K series engine built for his kit car at the moment, the Emerald also controls VVC as fitted to rovers and others, and has the EGT software in it, does coilpack DIRECT(no external amp needed), so no Ł400 conversions just for this.
Emerald is on 01953 889110, the first advice I would give you is BOOK BOOK BOOK NOW!!
Seriously he just has so many people waiting he even operates a list of people waiting for cancellations.
As new features become available it is justy a case of a FREE download away, a new feature out soon is TURBO TIMER and LAUNCH CONTROL, it already has triple map, with in gear boost control.
The beauty of this system is you speak not ONLY to the man who maps it, but alos his business partner KARL is the one who designed it, and does all the developement work on it for new features etc.
I can put you onto a man who can make your loom, very reasonably for you as well, he has patterns for cossies.
He had a nice duratec there the other week that made 277 on T B/s@9700rpm!
Saffmanlee, you can always pop in mine for a cuppa if you like!!
Roosie I will pop in friday about your ecu, seeing about the looms today as got to go to dereham/wymondham/norwich.

From memory I don't think that is an actual piccie of his underbonnet, he's going with T4 anyway, with modded head etc, plus all the usual.
