my pc started restarting a couple of times and upon switching back on there was a loud fan noise, took the side cover off and the big fan on the psu wasnt spinning as some clear like silicone stuff was hanging out of the grill stopping it from turning,

now the pc monitor just flashes out of range

his the psu fubared ? pc is still working fine as i canswitch it off using windows key a the u key,

whats happened to it ?

ok ive got it working again BUT.........

every time i restart it or turn it on it starts in the lowest screen resolution, i have to change it and move the icons around each time

now whys it doing this ??

sounds to me like the psu is on its way out, if you say that was start of the problems aswell.

Get a decent one for 40-50

i take it you have alot of hardware or are a gamer then? otherwise you wouldnt want more than 350w

And no idea why thats happening, but must be related to the psu if both things happened one after the other
