prob with Tonys, he'll tell u this is he doesn't run a CVH turbo.

And you my friend do.. Tonys is a proper piece of kit but he isn't 100% sure it will fit due to the plenum being so high and the engine rocking as much.

Ollie has one on his where the original master cylinder fits

Speak to Dingy, Markk, or Martin Hadland/Zoo, as they all helped me out when deciding what to do with mine.....

That's the one we made for mine Gus

Its probably not worth MEF doing all the drawings and development work to make one as a direct fit for the Escort just to sell one or two units im afraid.

However if you had a Subaru we have a direct replacement fitting one available already

Nothings impossible though if the moneys there

and whats wrong with that
cylinders are £30 each or £75 for ap ones each
ally balance pedel box is £150 weights fuk all
the braket is quite a complex item to fit under a normal dash out the way and bolt up to the normal brakets on the bulkhead
how much does martin charge for a hydrolic convertoins on cozzys ?

Im sure you can get it cheaper tho as a S1 wont need the hydraulics for the clutch

Think mine cost about £45 to make - then a further £1500 to get right Uses different size cylinders for front and rear brake balance, which all had to be tried and developed from hours spent on track

I agree its better in the bling department Brom - but the weight of all that extra lot compared to a £5.99 clutch cable which weighs next to nothing kind of made my mind up.

Blingyness wont make it go any faster - reducing weight of components will

Suppose when you have your kind of power it don't make any difference - but down at toytown level it does

to be honest mate i recon it will weight lighter than the whole servo bar peddle box set up
the slave cylinder bolts inside the gear box so you only got a bit of dash 3 as aposded to a big cable
just thowing a few ideas around thats all

the reason i ask about this is the car will be used as a track car and is currentlt running als, not sure how it all works (vacum i think) but with the als on, i tend to lose the brakes. only sometimes thou

think a bias box would work but is there any other options open to me?

if thats all thats open to me it just looks like things will be happening later than thought,

thanks

I got a universal Pedal box from rally design, and then moddified that to fit. Comes with willwood master cylinders, the adjustable balance bar is extra but only a few quid. You would also need to get the resevoir pots. whole lot only came to about £300, that was with new brake lines and fittings.

sorry got no pics will take some tonight for you if you like.

I done most of the work myself, that price was just for all the parts and wilwood brake fluid.
You would then need to modify the box to fit, its not alot of mods, but once you cut a few pieces off you would need to re-weld some bits so that it maintains its strength. Not masses of welding though.

For the brake lines you just need a flaring tool, i had one so was easy for me to re-do all brake lines, which i ran through the car for the rears. Like i said i will take a few arty shots tonight and up-load them tomorrow for you.

It is a tight fit especially where the cylinders sit, but they dont foul anywhere so its all good. I think if i was to do one again i would seriously look at fitting one inside the car, maybe even one of them floor mounted ones, but then the car is a track car and not really driven on the road at all, so no luxury items like carpets or sound proofing tis fooking loud!!!

If you tend to lose the brakes as you say then maybe just a better fluid and a higher temp grade brake pad will be a cheaper option for now

What are you currently running ?

you need to make yourself a vacuum reservoir m8 , alot of diesels used to do it for that very reason that the vacuum was being consummed , just a small canister will do that your engine can store vacuum then it has a larger storage capacity than just your servo !!
