thinking of selling up !!!
before anyone complains, this is not a 'whats it Worth' for sale add !!! 
i have had my escort cosworth for 4 years now and have loved every min of it
, was front cover of fast ford in April this year 
( prob the highlight for me ) and i have completely rebuilt it my self 
. its not just a car, its the whole ford scene, its massive, the shows , club meets and people 
. i know i will not find this anywhere else and i know i will probably regret it if i do. 
its just that i seem to have lost my enthuthiasm. i am thinking of putting it away for a while and hope it comes back to me ???? 
i don't really want to sell her as i have put so much work and time ( not to mention money ) in to it that it would be a shame.....
have any of you felt the same and what did you do ????

that has been down engine advatages aint it? im sure i have seen it when i have been done there, and im sure that i reconize that rolling road been on ther enough times lol

got the mag in my room mate keep it an put it away for winter the first good day of the newyear bring it out an if you still feel the same then it may be time to sell,

i had the mag with it on but it came apart in the sauna
if i built one of the best escort cossies in britain myself, had it on the cover of a magazine, spent all my cash on it, got a buzz every time i drove it & got looked at and envyed by loads of other folk.....
well i think id sell it aswell

I know the car too..
I have those times, when have had enuff and want to sell...
So my cure is to put the car in the garage and leave it for a min of 2 weeks.
Saying that the saph has been in the garage for two years
I have just doen the same with the escos now for winter, i wont even touch it
for at least a month...
Works for me..

I always regret selling my 3dr. Do what Marco said, put it away for a bit.

Defo put it away mate every time im out in the pub or at knockhill ppl always nip my head saying you should have kept it & all that stuff it pisses me off 
then you get the urge to buy another i have newarly done a few times but it would cost about 25grand to get another to the spec mine was so it puts you off

I was in your shoes a while back, had my saff for over 4 yesrs and spent a fortune on her, still its been 2 weeks since I did a deal with fordsportjay off here and I'm bearing up rather well to be honest. I'll get another one next year, just fancied a break from it all and coudn't afford to lock it up in the garage

thanks you all for your replies, i have been looking through the mag and watching some old video footage ( wish i could show ya all but its far to incriminating to put on the net !!!! , surrey to lakeside in 26 min !! ) 
but to name a few.....
i know i will regret it if i sell up so
she is here to stay , in fact, i have decided to make some small changes soon and have got an air chamber till its nice again,
thanks you lot..... and i hope to meet some of you in the coming show season....
and for those that are feeling the same as i am , don't sell up sit it out
you know its worth it
