Noticed quite a few peoples avatars have been removed and replaced
with "PF AVATAR REMOVED".


Now my perfectly legal one that I have had for over 2 years has gone too ??????

Just also noticed someones editted my signature too

 

I noticed yesterday that mine had been removed too.

I had mine made for me so it was within the legal size limits.

so as you say secs what the HELL is going on !!!

 

Speak to Eagle, I'm sure he will clarify .

 

Just went to reload my avatar and noticed its about 500 bytes above the limit.
Been there for 2 years so I guess it had a good run. LOL


Still doesnt explain my signature.

It used a large font like others do ( TIFF ) and that was changed to a
smaller one.

No complaint really if it applies to everyone

5. Signature and avatar pictures:
We allow the user one signature picture and an avatar of your choice on PassionFord. These must not be suggestive or in any way rude or offensive. However, they mustadhere to the following guidelines:

Here are the allowable sizes:
Max siggy physical Size: = 550 x 150
Max siggy Disk size: = 25600bytes (25k)
Max Avatar size: = 105 x 105
Max Avatar Disk size: = 5120bytes (5K)
Max Text size: = All text printed in the signature area must be normal font size.

We do NOT allow telephone numbers or direct web links in any signature other than those of registered PassionFord traders.

The only exception to the Signature rules above is that banner traders are allowed 102400bytes (100K) signatures images.

 

There is a perfectly valid reason for keeping the sig's and avatar's to a size limit. That is so there is more room for posts like this, or 'poll'- shall I paint my door handles?

I did find out my mistake about teh avatar as above.

As for text sizes, I see Tiffs signature has mysteriously changed before I
could quote it back at you.
