Default Problem with the turbo, won't start!

Basically, it started, drove to work and then when I went to go home there was nothing, everything worked bar the engine

Battery is fully charged and it bump starts but then when you stop it won't start again.

I just got it home and when i turned it off and tried to start it, it started! but I just know it'll be my luck tomorrow that it won't start in the morning.

Any ideas? Battery is fine, alternator too, so is the starter motor lol.

When it plays up, no, it won't turn over. Wiring looks bang on. Think I'm going to stick a new starter on it at the weekend, see if that sorts it.

as above it will be the thin wire that goes to the starter motor more than likely a bad connection!

ps before you go under trying to check/take the wires off etc disconnect the battery 1st

Have you tried hitting the starter motor with something solid?

Could be the turbo overheating the starter motor - I had this happen to me quite alot with my old FRST.

Cheers,

Andy
