Default Jobs..

Probably been done a thousand times but...

I was just wondering what everyone does for a living, If there happy in there current jobs and what would you be doing if you had the choice.

Currently I'm working in admin and I cant stand it, money isnt the best and I'm thinking of going in for my HGV license.

So what about the rest of you?

How old are you mate? you could always ask the local garages if they want an apprentice. The problem with that is the wages is piss poor.

I'm 22, should of done something about it when I was abit younger but a career was the last thing on my mind then.

Now a Process Engineer in the Wastewater Industry, designing wastewater treatment processes to protect our precious environment.
Spent years as a Process Scientist, sampling at sewage works, it was a shitty job , certainly not what i had planned to do after going to university.

Mr Shannon,

depending on when you passed your test, you may need to pass your 7.5 Tonne and then your Class 2 first before doing your HGV Class 1.

I'm a Technical Adviser for a Life Office which means I know lots of boring stuff about pensions, investments and financial crap in general

Just secured another role as a Sales Consultant though as I'm looking to become a Financial Adviser

Done lot's of fun exams this year
Passed my Certificate in Mortgage Advice and am waiting for the results for my final exam to complete my Certificate in Financial Advice.

I'm bored of my current role but that's about to change and I have a master plan

Seems like alot of you are set up for life, well done

I just cant seem to think what I want to do as a life long career.

Most of the things I've been thinking off either mean me be being an apprentice on a crap wage or me going to college full time and having no wage at all.

I would love to open my own I.C.E shop but then there's the problem of start up costs.
