Im a Train Driver Instructor.

I have been on the railway since i left school in 1987.

Passed as a Driver in 1991, you have to be 21.

Still enjoy it as it's what i wanted to do

I am back at Banner where i worked a few year back,
Transport manager rung me and told me the script when i was working with Messer,

Hours - I am on 6.30 starts, fuck around for half an hour doing nowt (smoke cabin or brew room)
Job and squat, paid for 8 hours per day plus O/T when you do it,
Today, last drop done at around 11.30ish in Liverpool, went to Stockport to pick summat up for the Old Qween, drop wagon off at work and sat at home having a brew at 1.45 at home

I prefer early starts TBH, gives me the day to myself then and get more done rather than having to wait till weekend.

I run my own business , alot of time and effort , but you get your rewards in the end , i do all types of security , alrms/intergrated access control systems , cctv and that sort stuff

Sub contract to alot of big companies too

Rmc security a little plug lol

Yeah the geezer that trained me on a shore crane, which is the grey 1 said that these are the hardist crane to get the hang off because its only got a single cable!! he said once i can catch the swing on this then all other cranes are a piece of piss! Be driver them now for bout a year and im pretty damn good now!! i've been looking into getting trained on tower cranes and mobile ones!!

Im self employed/ run my own business as a LGV & PSV mechanic but turn my hand to anything with wheels from my 3dr cossy and my dads 68 fastback mustang to lawn mowers, fork lift trucks to 360 diggers etc !!

Also got my class 1 and adr as a back up and thinking about doing my CPC.

I work for Hertz delivering and collecting hire cars, mainly drive Mondeo's and Focus's and galaxys all day but lately been driving Saab 9.3's, Toyota prius, Chrysler 300c, Vectra SRi's, Mondeo ST and such.

Not a bad job, no boss breathing down your neck and the mobile never rings

im at uni doin Quantity surveying part time, been working at the firm for nearly 3 years now, pays the bills for now but will be there for another 3 years till the real money comes in ! still a good laugh though ! only bad thing is that a QS is the buss word in the construction industry now so everyone wants to be 1 !

Do you not mean "useless" !!!!!!!!

I'm a self employed building services design engineer, with a limited company employing just me lol!!! (oh and my mum is on the books for tax reasons!)

I hate doing infrastructure jobs as dealing with UU / Core / Transco is a foooooking nightmare
