i think autodata is pretty much all you will ever need tbh.

the only prob i know of is you're unable to save invoices generated on autodata into a seperate folder for viewing later/for records. Unless someone here knows different and i've been doing it wrong?

of course you can print an extra copy and keep it in a filing cabinent but thats not the point!

i thought autodata was more for looking up info, as aposing to storing info and invoicing

ive used both KDMS and Kerridge, which do what your after but i belive the licenses are horribly expensive

My mates small garage uses some software run off Uniparts website.

The company I work for uses Evolution and before hat was Drive-In. We are looking into another software package but I can't remember what it is now.

I found this after a breif search... http://www.garagebase.com/GB_UK.htm

I mostly look after trucks vans and coach's, so a lot of my work is repeat buiness with most vehicles have to be serviced on between a 6 to 10 week rota hence the scheduling part and I need to keep the vehicle details eg chassis number etc for ordering parts etc

Yes I understand what you need. I can't remember what software will do that though as we haven't had a customer who wanted us to fleet manage their trucks for a while now (most of our work is now from fleet maintenance management companies like Lex (now Fraikin), TLG, Asset Co, NSN ect).

I think the EVO software will do it but I think it might be expensive for what you want.

If you want a cheap solution, Microsoft Outlook can flag up shedules...

Have a flick through google. You might be able to find something more suitable.
