yeah but not with the same license, you'd need to buy another.

But thats the same with any AV, although dont bother with norton its crap as andy said, once you uninstall it you will see how faster your computer runs.

Norton and Avg are used by kids. Why not get yourself a real AV package. something like Kaspersky or trend micro pc cilin. do a review search then download them all an test yourself.

Might as well use Internet explorer too while you're at it.

A good Anti virus should cause your problems, it should find things, especially if you download. An anti virus that sits there and appears to work fine is not good!

The rule of "if it aint broke don't fix it" does not really apply with most things in computer technology. For example if your Anti Virus was not picking up 5 viruses due to imcompetance then how would you know? You wouldn't because most people are more happy with resource performance than would it could be missing in scans. As long as its quick.........

You have to constantly check, test and evolve. New things occur all the time. Holes and vulnerabilities are fresh every day. Just look at Microsoft for example.

Don't forgot Av software doesn't detect trojans or certain keyloggers usually.

Doesn't mean shit. i've read many computing books where they mention Norton (weather good or bad) but after testing myself i would rate it about 5th or 6th. It misses things plus its a resource hog which is what most people are concerned about mostly. Most people can't test them all so reading as many reviews as you can is a good thing. Especially if you download. Although you can get a virus just by using any web site nevermind attachements or installations.

AVG free and paid are average as well. The trouble is most people listen to others after making a post or just make do with what they think works well.Usually the people they get it off follow they above.

I've been using AVAST lately after using AVG for years and I have to say I am very impressed with it. It picks up viruses in emails and even viruses on a forum if a thread contains one.
