Default Gurne's post about DVLA and informing them of car ownership

Anyone got a link to it cause the search function is fucking useless on here or i dont know how to use it properly, one or the other, lol

The post about not filling out the form for 19 quid to inform them of a change of owner.

Previous owner sent off the form he reckons but i recieved nothing, i wrote to the DVLA and asked for the V5, but they just sent me a form to fill out that costs 19 quid as they said they havent received the form

Actually thats not the post i meant, although it is talking about similar stuff.

There was another one a lot longer ago that is the one i cant find.

I had this recently...

If you still have the new keeper section of the log book....The little bit that you rip off....... All you do is send that to DVLA and they will send you the logbook for free

Take it there is no form for that bit, you just send it off to them with a covering letter?
