Admin, etc, RE My gold membership
Why havent i had a reminder to renew? Seems strange. I would have like to continue to run my membership continually but it has just come to abrupt halt which i only found out when trying to access Mens Room.. 
Could you check that its not some error as i thought it was in the new year i paid last

My membership also ran out but I cant remember when I last paid it either. I also have just got stopped access to the mens room, paid by pay pal immediatly but also did not get a reminder, is it right?

never mind, didnt realise it was a yearly thing to be honest just thought you paid it and that was that. not bothered as their is no new stuff in the mens room anyay.

If you asked this in teh correct room you would have got a far faster response. Neither pet or i look in this room for anything forum related.
The membership program is totally automated with no reminder system in place. After exactly 365 days your membership expires. It would be nice if we could have a reminder system designed and installed but we cant (Unless someone wants to pay for it to be done?), by teh same token it would be nice if we got an MOT reminder too, but we dont.
Im afraid if you havent kept your paypal reciept there is little i can do to help you in teh matter. 
As for the gold member badges that is not at all automated and as yet we dont have any way around that. Id say 60% of teh people with a badge are NOT gold members at present.

My gold membership has gone as well.I am sure it should still be running until late december?Last year I got notification that it was coming to the end and a payment automatically debited my card?Can I check somewhere to see when its due to expire?

No warning, Still have the Gold Logo in my posts too.

Ok, i'll clarify things .
1) the logo never leaves as for now, as it shows that the users has contributed to the site at one time or the other. When the membership expires, the logo stays for now. It could change in the future, tho.
2) NO automated payment has ever been made starturbo And i doubt peeps would like it to automatically pay each year, as lots of users would forget about it and moan via mail asking for me to refund them... i don't really have the time to do this as you can imagine
3) it's a yearly suscription, and no reminder is coming as for now. But you'll soon have a text in the header reminding you when you are to expire, i'm currently working on this.
4) It DOES NOT take a week to process as the gold membership is now automatically activated within 1 or 2 seconds as soon as the payment is received by paypal... so it's not exactly a long wait

peeps confuse the logo not showing and the membership not activated. As for now, the logo needs to be asked via PM to me, as some users don't want it. When some users don't see the logo, they think they are not gold members yet, when they already are... they would only need to try and entering the mens room to be sure, but god knows why they still think it's not been processed
