Think its the same as your airbox Paul...thur the front headlight.

You can see on Ian(Sibster's) airbox, its flush to the headlight

As with everything on the WRC car though....they aint cheap.... I thought I had some build pics of the air box but they aint on my laptop....the air box bolts throught the front panel it has a cone filter inside and another carbon adapter for the intake hose to adapt to.....mine came from M-Sport but I think Dewitts do em....or there are some plastic moulded versions about.....

Where does it feed air from? or to put it in a better way what I'm trying to get at is I want to keep the standard lights, is there anyway of getting an air feed from the RS500 grill like the original EscCos airbox had? Is that what you meant in the bit I've highlighted?

Cheers guys

Paul,

They are designed to get an air feed from morette style, I suppose you could blank off the original intake and cut out below the box but above the inner arch...then duct into the air box that way, the other carbon adapter refers to the turbo intake hose to air box...from memory the cone filter has a neck of approx 90 - 100 mm the carbon adapter reduces from this to the 70mm intake hose onto the turbo....
