can you launch a rwd with more confidence over a 4wd??

is a 4wd gearbox/diffs more vurnerable when hard launching over a rwd. if yes, by how much (talking about YB)
people normally get a 4wd rolling and then plant it!!!! is there anyway to get it solid or are you better off launching a rwd

the idea with the 2wd is that it will break traction before anything snaps.
4x4 has more traction, therefore the strain wont be taken out with wheelspin and more likely to snap things.
thats the THEORY, but in practice youre still likely to snap a 2wd diff launching with high power.
