Trying to find an exhaust system for my XR2, want a four branch manifold and system to suit. Fiesta Centre do Ashley exhausts for £180ish thats with manifold. Good price, but ive heard they are loud.. How loud would these be? Anyone else suggest an exhaust system? Cheers

get a janspeed or magnex 4 branch manifold and keep the std system, they sound great as std imo, especially if youve got an aifilter of some sort. i went from magnex manifold and std system, to full magnex and the car actually felt slower, and that was with a 1.8 zetec lump. i put the std system back on, its the best one imo, just change the manifold.

Yea, maybe thats the best. I can get the system made up. Just i dont want another 100db exhaust at 4500rpm. Got a good shop link to a Magnex manifold? It'll be hooked upto a set of 40's, cam etc. So will this be ok for the power? Cheers

HAd an ashley manifold and system on my old xr2, very loud, all it was, was a cherry bomb and a back box with no baffles, talk about burble pop bang, soon swapped it for a full janspeed set up, lovely.
