Default Ford capri question

can anyone tell me what engine was in the Mk 3 cpri laser 1600....was it crossflow or pinto??

I think only 1 Capri had a X-flow fitted and that was the MK1 1300

nope. 1600 mkI aswell but the capri in question has a pinto type engine

Surprisingly good engine too, just done 300 miles in mine on the motorway and the stupid gearing means its doing 5000rpm. Bit noisy but never missed a beat.
