as above,defo not a facelift base model 3 door in this country,but early ones were available

later 3 doors 1987 onwards (saph front end) where avab but where not sold in the UK.

You can get a "saff" 3 door but they were not sold in this country, My cousin over in germany has one as well as a big fuck off motorbike

you can get the 3dr version of the pic above but was only available outside uk as DOO has said

there is one in either fast ford/ performance ford mag on track carnt remember which issue though, buts its a white 3dr mk2

i like that 2dr saff any info?
For all the picky ppl saying about saff on log book etc the first "saff" 2wd were never badged as a sapphire.Just Sierra RS Cosworth.it was the later 4wd that received a sapphire badge

afaik in europe there is no sapphire just the equiv of mk1 sierra
and mk2,my 4x4 sierra cosworths were not sapphires
was told you could get 3dr xr4i's (mk2) with a dohc motor
where as we(uk) got the 5 dr only

that saph was converted iirc. there's a guy that did about 3 or 4 of em.

however i have heard of / seen a pic of (aaages ago mind) and original 2door sapphire

i assume that they never sold any tho, more of a "what if" by ford development.

you can deffo get 3door mk2s on the continent, but not RS models.

dont think you can get a 3door mk2 XR either, but i could be wrong

Your right i wasn't. We was talking how the mondeo took over the sierra and he said you can get a 3dr sierra but not a mondeo. And i said only in the cosworth. He told me he had seen a standard sierra in 3dr Hence we was unsure so posted up for proof.

like a 2.3 turbo sierra,a 5.0 v8 sierra a 5.0 v8 granada
escort pickups, 4 door rs2000's...etc thats wot makes it appealing
