frst had bonnet vents, bumper with cut out for fan, and no grille bit
recaros, leather steering wheel and gear knob green stripes three spokes was slightly lower, stiffer suspension i think??
also didnt have the gay black bit inbetween the windows!!! and also opening rear quarters!!!!
the rear spoiler is exactly the same size but colour coded + carpet same as xr2i

Engine block and head are the same, only difference is the pistons (obviously). You can use the XR2i loom with just a few changes to the plugs (there are a few guides about).
Bodykits are the same, the front bumper has a cut out for the bigger rad fan. Gearbox is the same but the clutch (and I think flywheel) are different (i.e. uprated) compared to the 8v 2i.
Rear pop-out windows on the FRST and I don't think they have a black surround to the side windows like the XR2i does. Recaro interior in the FRST with it's own fabric (not the same as found in the RS1800 or special XR2i's).
Speedo reads up to 150mph rather than 140.
Slightly lower suspension struts as standard than the 2i but brakes front and back are identical.
There really isn't that much difference apart from little touches like the steering wheel and gearknob which should be trimmed with a grey leather (which will almost certainly be dirty now with years of use).
XR2i 8v will have a tacky blue strip in the carpet near the front seats saying XR2i in them - never liked that!
