Offshore work.

Been in the chemical industry for 16 years and fancy a bit of a change (read "more money"). Sparky by trade with instrument knowledge, supv. experience etc etc.

Try ctc marine in darlo mate i'd almost say they would deffo give you a start if your a tradesman ie have all your certs etc.

Fucking fab, i get paid decent money for doing the best part of fuck all, and 6 months of the year off lol
There are 2 ways to do it some go day rate and some contract, day rate is good for he well established blokes cause they get job offers cause there known in the industry. I'm on a 180 day contract as a trainee rov tech, that means i get 15 days pay a month even if i dont work or do a full month, untill i get me 180 days in then i get my 15 days plus what i work on top ie i might get 45 days pay for doing a month solid.
Its hard to get into but once your foots i the door its a good game to be in if your mrs can hack you being away from home for weeks on end

i work in the off shore oil industry, and they are screaming for people with your knowledge & skills i'll try & find out more for you but off the top of my head try shell & petrofac, im in the north sea but my mate is working in the gulf of mexico as an elec-chickin just now
