Smoke out of breather?!
Right got the cossie home after fitting another engine i had bought (2nd hand) the car runs fine now ive adjusted the idle as it was hunting before but, ive noticed ones its warmed up theres slight smoke coming out the breather, and when u rev it comes out more.
Any thoughts to what it could be?! appears to be white smoke which is water from memory?! but could be blue hard to make out.
Car needs setting up anyway but dont wanna take it somewhere to find out theres a prob with it and have to replace things then go back, been there done that
The breathers a bailey one btw ive got no pipe on the bottom of it at mo (the big atmosphere outlet) hence i can see the smoke!!!

you wil get condensation coming out of this pipe specially when you start the car and its cold outside...just like the smoke from your exhaust til the engine warms...

Even if its doing it once then engines warm?! admitedly it aint summer anymore thou
Also just stuck some magnatec in there to get it running so its not the right oil either, obviously gonna change it for some mobil 1 15-50 once im happy its all ok
Will uploads some pics of the cap in a sec so u can see what the oils like!

Right had a play with it today, starts just about (is on greys so bit lumpy to start as it hasnt been set-up yet) but when its warmed up its ok but, till then its fine but once its warm theres deff whiteish smoke comin out the breather still 
but not till its warm. also noticed that the coolant level had dropped a bit so getting concerned it could be the head gasket now, can u buy testing kits from somewhere to check the coolant?! ie if gases are getting into it........ topped it up so will check it again next time i start it.
Done a compression test and all cylinders are about 150psi bar no4 which is about 130 so nothing too detrimental, only thing i havnt done is a full oil change as didnt want to spend £40 off on mobil 1 to find out the engine wasnt working!!! but would have thought any moisture in the sump would have evaporated by now
