Default track day toy zetec conversion advice please

well i have this escort xr3i shell sitting in my workshop cant
sell it so i may aswell use it as a track day toy

how much work is it to fit a zetec 20 lt 16 v












boot floor







floor pan























the down side of it is someone has cut this inner panel out good know's why



also some little work needed to passenger side rear arch

really i dont have a clue when it comes to zetec conversion

i all ready have the mondeo ready to swap it over

it really is a shame to use this shell its solid but im fooked of with time wasters so ive decided to do this instead

even the roof dont have any rot at all

Apparently only four wires need hooking up to the standard engine loom.....

about to do the conversion my self so will let you know how i get on.

i know someone on here done one to a standard escort he said it
was easy but im sure he said he had to use a efi flywheel

You do need and EFI or 1800 zetec flywheel.

No link to the build on this site but you can read about it in next months Fast Ford mag.

Baz go for it mate Great sheel to start with imo as its soild in ALL the right places
Also Get the Dash ect off to Garage19 To be flocked i have seen pics of his work and as soon as mine is ready to be done i'l be sending it down to him All so he can do other bit to add to the track finish

how much does it cost to have the dash done

i may paint it white on the bottom and red on the top half
