hows things folks.. right then people a three door cossie went past me tonight not racing past just driving past.. so there was me the only ford lad in the car & even i couldnt tell it was a replica besides the note of the exhaust so can you give me any hints of what to look for on a well built replica 3 dr cossie & an escort cossie by just givving them a quick glance..

yer ill be toed to the ford meet at enfield thats for sure its a big hill to get up and me car has magor flat spot can only use the cluch as me problem lies in the fuel presure and getting no help to solve this

all front lights,fogs etc /rear upper^lower spoiler/bonnet/side skirts and wheels / banana^pod^gauges/centre console/centrearmrest/raven carpet been fibre gallsed underneath to make it look like a tunnel andmeet the console part from that its fibreglass grill/bumpers/front n rear wings its painted in tvr blue with shades of green^purple^baby'blue / fitted with a ford fiesta rs turbo efi cvh engine with a garret t3 turbo -31 actuator,twin spal fans,5"rolled pipe/straight through/ofac loom ecu map etc
be a shame too loose but gives me time to get another project

rear quaters dont meet the lower spoiler.
Exhaust in the wrong place,
wheels still dont sit right.
wrong grille mesh.

i would happily own a 3 door rep or saph providing it was running the right running gear but an escort no way purely because it will never be anything like the real deal.

as far as escort reps go alot of work has been put into this one and when your young its more to do with looks than speed, iv seen alot worse reps floating around on ebay i think it looks good, as for the running gear not everyone can afford to run a cossie, insurance etc.

Whats the point though? You could get a far far better car for a lot less cash (such as the Mk5/6 Rs2000) that would be much more fun, and replicas look shit anyway, I have only ever seen 1 or 2 reps that are close, and they cost nearly as much as a real one anyway ... Sorry but they are just pointless in my opinion, look shit, are slow and cost a lot to build.

Save and get a real one, and enjoy a far better car in the mean time.
