Default Porsche Cayenne

The time has come to chip my Volvo XC90 in as I am sick & tired of being overtaken by pushbikes and the wife wants a Cayenne.

Any opinions, experiances, etc?

After working on a dozen or so, and the VW Touregg(sp) which is an IDENTICAL car (take apart a Cayanne and all the components inside, right down to the wondow motors and speakers are all VW parts) I declare them to be shite..... Seriously! Design and build quality is shocking for a car of such prestiege. And even more shocking for a car built by VW, of the VW/Audi Group (VAG). I was most dissapointed with them, honestly.

That said, the turbo version don't half fucking shift For it's seize and weight it properly goes!

Ugliest car ever built IMO.

Just buy a Scania.

Why not get an AMG 55 estate or an RS6?

A mate of mine has the Cayenne Turbo and the fooker is crazy quick! On our local short test track he pulled 160mph (on the speedo) - his evo 6 can only get to 140 on the same stretch!!!!! He loves it but servicing isnt cheap as you'd expect!

man it would nevr be as quick as a gallardo, that turbo book figure to 60 is 5.7

the turbo s has aout 50bhp more

that will never stay with a gallardo which does it in like 4.3

I had a 4.5 V8 S model when they first came out. A great car, but make sure you buy one with the optional air suspension and PASM...it makes it go around corners like a sports car.

And they are horrible as well, had a very bad accident in one a year ago and was great safety wise but horrible to drive in the wind and a very boring interiour classic BMW

Depends what you really want from a 4x4 ?, My wife & i test drove a new D5 XC90 & i must admit i really did think it was a great vehicle, quality was good to, we tried the X5 also but for us the boot space was far too small, is the new V8 XC90 out yet ? TBH the XC90 is the best in its class,7 seats & still has a big boot but after all that we did'nt buy one as i could'nt put up with the very poor performance of the D5. We bought the V70 R 300bhp estate instead & love it

Have driven the X5 4.4 Sport and didn't like that too much.

The majority of Range Rovers that I have seen, seem to be driven by pikeys or people with necks the size of birthday cakes.

The Volvo is the best all round vehicle but has no soul.

Has driven the Cayenne 4.5s and liked it but went for the XC90 because of the 7 seats.
