the wheelbase is (iifc) about 7 inches shorter on the escos than it is on the saph so the different has to be in the rear prop (or possibly in the front section that comes into the splined bit)
i know that the granada and sierra 2wd props, both for the mt75 applications, have longer front portions and i know that the 4wd sierra's have even shorter front sections, not too sure if there wuld be enough left to lose at the front

The front prop section is the same as sapphy 4x4,the rear section as Martin rightly says is about 50 or 60mm shorter......
The other main differences are:
ABS sensors(same sensor,different connection)
Exhaust system
Intercooler(no prob if you are fitting a 500 one)
Tank/Pump
The only problem with building an Escos is the price of shells and trim parts,it would probably work out cheaper to buy a cheap car and spend some money on it.....
I`m up to Ł30K and counting....

If its to build up as a complete car including the bodykit and interior, its going to work out more expensive than buyign an escos.
If its for a stripped out trackday car though, potentially worth doing if you get a shell for the right money.

cheers for the rplies, am not sure at the moment, just was wondering if its possible, not thinking about interiors as i reackon i would end up with it stripped out etc, just thought really if i were to see a shell for good money, at least i would have an idea if it was worth doing or not
