I had the Cossie damaged a couple of months ago when up North visiting my parents.


Some lil twat decided he would throw a brick / stone at side of car.

Ending up with a nice dent in drivers door.

Cut a long story short, the kid got arrested.

He was up in court 2 weeks ago, got a letter thru

Saying he admitted causing the damage to my car, however because he has so many convictions etc etc the court gave him a custodial sentence.


So the lil shit is banged up now and i get no compen for the damage to the car.

Just had a look for you and i dont think you can i think it has to have involved another car to claim with them. Might be worth going to your local citizens advice if you want to see if you can claim anything they will for sure.

i think once he has been found guilty of the criminal offence (as he has) you can take him to the small claims court for compensation for your damage, inconvinience etc

Problem is even when you win the claim he`ll get away with paying you Ł2.00 a week

Sadly you are just a victim of today`s society (Lawless Britain )

IMO take comfort that he had the slap he deserved at the time

 

I dont know what they got as they pleaded guilty to all charges, so i didnt need to actually go into the court, thing is it was a 18yo kid, i am 6ft 1 14 stone and a doorman and this little fcuk was bout half my height, its amazing what drugs can make someone think they can do!!!! although he hit me and i have never seen someone go so white when i was still standing haha, so he got a good bashing

 

As said try the MIB. They paid me out in the past.

You should get a letter basically telling you what happened at the hearing as you did not have to be there with him pleading guilty.

 

Thats why they are running low on space in the prison's because they are like holiday camp's
