What's it like?

Thinking of going for my birthday but I'm not sure what's on there...

I'm talking indie/alternative or 70s, 80s, 90s & 00s party tunes & chart mixes etc

Anyone know of any decent clubs??

 

Ive been there a couple of times out on the piss and personnaly think the place is great....... Usual places there ie Yates, Edwards and Bar med!! Didnt manage to get to the clubs

 

The Old Fire Station might be worth a visit

 

is slinky still going at the opera house?

that used to be a fucking cracking night, not really a drinking club though

 

When a load of us went on a stag weekend we did....

Bar Med, The comedy Club (dont remember its name) then went to
Spearmint Rhino.


For some reason we didnt make it to a club

IMO slinky is shoite, but I suppose it depends on who's playing.

For Your Eyes Only is a quality establishment

 

I like 1812 but its a jazz club there just by the bic

 

Couple of decent clubs mate, nothing special or different anymore!

If thats the music you like, then don't come down here!

We stayed the weekend on a drink and fest a couple of weeks ago and they had everything! I was supprised....and pubs and clubs open till 5-6am?? was a wicked weekend and they played everything. Great place to shop too ...was like being on holiday....we loved it
Id recommend to anyone..cant wait to go back.

Your bar that is open till 6am, isn't anymore and the other one that was someone was stabbed in there a fortnight ago by some fuckin idiot on drugs as they allow people to 'smoke' in there!

Bournemouth was the place to be 5 years ago when i was 17/18, every club was amazing, not too many fuckin students, no blacks walking round in entourage's thinking the own the place, just awesome clubs and wicked people!

Now it's just cunt culture with silly little slags about and knobhead's that think they own the place, everywhere's alright for a holiday ffs!

 

Spent 3 years at uni there and all I can say is, its a top night out any night.

Elements was 80's on a Wednesday night and dance stuff/over 21's on a Saturday night.

Those suggesting the old Fire Station, thats owned by the Uni so you will need someone to get you in (so you dont bring the average age down )

All the usuals last time I was there a year or so back (a lot can change granted) Litten Tree, O'Neils etc.

A top night out but definately go during uni term time, i.e now as the semester has just started. I am still on the mailing list so drinking will be a plenty in the next week or two.

Slinky is still on in Boscombe on a Friday night until the end of this month then its moving from the Opera House, they don't know where to yet

 

Everytime I went to the Opera House it was rough as fook and constantly gettin hassled everyone there was out of there face of drugs.

Theres some wicked bars in the centre of the town for clubs either pull a uni student and get in the fire station. If you wasted and broke got to Berlins Its a bit gansta gansta in there.

Up the top of town there Karma, Bar blue which are pretty good.

Then Litten tree etc as you walk into town then onto Bar Me. Which has a glass floor upstairs

Loads of places to go just expect big ques on the weekend to the Clubs.
