Default Squeeling tyres.

Right, the car has AVO coilovers, strutbraces, and a zoo rose jointed rear beam. It handles fantastically, but, my tyres seem to screech like fuck now?

It's not as if they're on a limit, because It feels like there is loads more grip left in them, but one quick turn in and all 4 are squeeling like pigs.

What causes this? The tyres are Toyo Proxes T1-S.

So the geometry could be out?

Or the tyres aren't upto the job?

Geometry could be wrong, and many parameters in it, usuaully just toe, but sometimes something else.

Some tyres just do that. I don't know those you have butmany makes just sqeels as fook when the corners come to sight and stop to do that quite a long time after you went through the corner

as said, the car sounds as though it needs the geometry setting up.

I see, Thanks.

I mean, the car goes around corners, and if you give it a little more, quickly while you're in the corner the tyres squeel. But there's no understeer there as far as I'm aware.....

Nowt wrong with T1S tyres - I'd do as above and get the geometry checked - find a tyre centre with a 4 wheel laser alignment service and get in there!

sound like you got Pirelli syndrome, P6000s are crap gripping, in wet or dry and REALLY noisy to drift with, sounds like your T1s just do the same? Either that or you may have a lot more rubber layed down on the road (which is great ) while trying to turn= more squeal?

Tbf, the tyres seem fantastic they just grip and grip.

But yeah, they squeel.. lots. Only happens if I turn in quickly, the car just goes where I say, just it's not very discreet because of the tyres.

My old cav used to do it on cheap tyres. Got T1-r on the dax and they don't squeal even with the arse right out or a nicely balanced 4 wheel drift.
