Default Rad flush.........

Whats the chances of it clearing a shitted up heater matrix?!?!

Basically the clio i drive to work seemed to have a blocked matrix as there was no heat. Have flushed it out using a jet washer and loads of shit came out

But basically even thou water will go thru it now when u turn the fans on u get a bit of heat then it goes cool again, so im guessing its still semi-blocked.

So would rad flush be good enough 2 clean it?! reason i ask is the very nice french ppl made it so u have to take the whole dash out and other bits 2 get the fookin matrix out

Any other suggestions would also be apreciated

This sounds mental but i've done it and it WORKS!

Get some of the wifes washing powder (for the washing machine) and put half a cup in the rad (not bottle) and run car for about half an hour. Give it a right good hose out and should work a dream, my taxi one was mega blocked!!

Why the rad and not bottle out of interest?!

Also does it get rid of all the foam etc once u flush it?! would have thought it would make shite loads of foam?!

Also how did u put it in the rad, by putting it in the top hose hole?!

Cheers

Put in rad so it works straight away, my old taxi engine has a rad cap so dead easy to put in. There IS loads of foam but keep the hose in for 10 minutes and it clears, back flush the rad and the heater aswell
