look at the state of the discs and calipers. they'll need replacing for a start.

mcpherson struts are too big for your project i would say, but could be replaced with better 2.25" coilovers

what would you use as the bottom link?

Ive got full brake set up that will fit and ive already got my coil overson my ka

I'd bin that idea and go for a custom rear set-up....
