Hit 115 tops down the Dunlop straight, that was coming flat out in 3rd out of the bend which was quite something for me! Had a few moments where the car couldn't decide if it was staying in the direction i was trying to point it
Managed a very 90-95ish thru craner which was enough as it started to get a bit TOO light at the back
Old hairpin was favourite of the day for me,coming out of it at 4500rpm on full power in 3rd,felt fantastic! And made a few things fall off my bumper(like that bloody Fiesta).
Not bad for a stg.1 on road(ish) tyres.Top day!

That "thing" before lasted over a year without any problems and was exactly the same as the one I had on my Sapphire that lasted 3 years without any problems . You replaced it un-necessarily, but it is now of such substance that it gives the front right a handling bias .

Mike Rainbird,

Please note that Stack do two speed sensors - one is a high temperature option (which is what you should be asking for, as the big brakes / regular track use fries the regular ones). There is no price difference and it would be Ł130 delivered from me either one.
do you believe that stack make these sensors though,,, or are they used everywhere in industry

Gareth,
No idea. But the Stack one comes with a water proof top notch connector etc and plugs directly into the Stack, without any rewiring required....

Lee,
As I stated, there are two sorts, the high temp ones and the normal ones, if you continue to buy the normal ones, you will continue to "eat" them on a track car . The high temp ones I have never had any problems with . You should have just bought a hi-temp one like I did (been on the car 2˝ years and no probs) - so

Mike, the sensors break through people sticking the car in Gravel traps, or Dangerous treading on them... Please tell me how a high temperature Sensor will resist this kind of treatment?

I know the car wasn't loud (and therefore its slow in most peoples eyes!) and I wasn't sliding it around and demonstrating the kind of AWESOME car control Scotty has in his sleep BUT I was staying with him without any problems apart from slow traffic getting our way! and with 1.4 Bar boost only and a PONY wide spaced Quaife box!!!

and I am still very very nervous in the car and only driving at 8/10ths....

Can't wait until the car and myself are both at full boost!

Massive thanks to John Felstead as he really helped get some of my confidence back and gave me some great help with some lines around the circuit.
Porkie/Renton,

Your car DEFFO looked like one of the quickest of the day at the bottom of the pit straight despite the lack of noise Looked VERY composed/fast round redgate & near the end of Sunday when you were getting on boost half way round the corner it just looked like the was a huge elastic band catapulting you away. My mate who bought my car off me & is very new to the RS scene was VERY impressed by how smooth & fast it was & was asking who had built it etc........

Cheers,
Ian

Words cannot describe how much faster I was going on sunday! YOU had my first passenger lap out in a car I have never driven and its my first quick car after a broken back!

Trust me mate, I was going ALOT faster on sunday Car IS a weapon and enormous thanks to Martin for all he has done. Its FINALLY starting to do the Reyland name justice and we are sooo grateful for sean and Zoos prep and final set up when Martin had to go on holiday.

With 2bar of boost National day would have been very different

Martin and Sean are moving things on though when it comes to track cars Be afraid!
