My Sky Broadband connection was activated yesterday and today is the first attempt I've had at conencting to the web, every site I try to go to I get this message;
Forbidden
You were denied access because:
Access denied by access control list.
WTF does this mean all my security settings are set to medium, I've even tried low, I can't even get to PF
And they call stuff plug and play nowadays.

Assuming you're using Internet Explorer (if you're not, say which browser you're using), and assuming it's version 6 (v7 may be slightly different, but shouldn't be too much different):
Tools --> Internet Options --> "Connections" tab
Now, you haven't said whether it's a modem or router you're using there, so choose from the following:
Modem:
Highlight the Sky connection in the list, click on Settings...
Remove the tick from "Use a proxy server..." (assuming it's ticked)
Click OK, then OK again, close all browser windows and re-open.
Re-try.
Router:
Click on the "LAN Settings" button at the bottom.
Remove the tick from "Use a proxy server..." (assuming it's ticked)
Click OK, then OK again, close all browser windows and re-open.
Re-try.
---------------
Hopefully, that "should" fix it, if the option was enabled......if not, or the option wasn't ticked in the first place, post in here again and I'll see if I can dig out any other reasons that error-message may show up.
