Default closed loop MSD Wots it like ?

Was talking to Stu (Cheers for the chat ) yesterday about putting my Cossy on closed loop black injectors etc etc and am 99% sure im gunna do it. I was just wondering how different i will find it (performance wise) compared to my set up at the mo (greens,T34 1.6 bar etc)

Best thing you will do mate. I noticed a big difference.

Soon as my T38 turns up, mines going back in for the same treatment of blacks etc.

i have a .55 so have the best of both worlds

but as above id keep your .48

i find the .55 laggy sometimes so a .63 is gonna be worse

you are gonna loose a few bhp but id prerfer to spin up quicker

unless of course your looking for more top end power ?

not greatly noticeable but car seems a lot smoother at low revs and idle sits perfectly

the main, obvious advantage is fuel consumption

motor way driving at 80mph = 30+ mpg

driving around town and sitting in traffic etc it uses a lot less also

as soon as you boot it there is no improvement as the car resorts back to its original map

hope this helps

I disagree. Having chnaged from a 48 to a 55, i hardly notice any difference in terms of spool up, but i notice the boost is kept higher up the rev range. Im almost tempted to sell the .55 and get a .63 because im greedy when it comes to boost
