Very interesting thought....please bare with me
....DOGS.....apparently they can eat another dogs poo without being ill...now thats a feat in itself..BUT the amazing thing is they can tell who did it and at what time and what they get fed 
...its like an autobiography for dogs...
right as said hear me out on this....
IMAGINE if we had that ability?....We could walk down our paths knowing that if we spot a steaming pile fouling the pavement we could eat it and find out what fooking dog done it and then beat the fooking owner up
...although be fooking weird to find its human shit

Phil - course I seen a dog munch on turd, but that don't mean it can tell the time the turd was laid, who laid it and what they ate now does it?
My point was - who told you/informed you that dogs could do that, and whoever it was, how did THEY know this? Surely only the dog knows this, and unless I am very misinformed, no-one has taught dogs to speak a human language yet

Many years ago my mum rescued a dog once and it used to eat the other dogs shit
It allways seemed to do it when I was brushing my teeth and looking out over the back yard..
Sick fecker would have a sneaky look round to see if anyone was watching, nip over and pickup the fresh 'brown cigar' and knock it's head back chomping on the steaming missile.
At the very same time I'd be gagging whilst watching and cleaning my teeth.
It allways seemed to do it when I was brushing my teeth and looking out over the back yard..
