Don't ask - I don't know

Have mixed views on this subject I have to say. I have a best part of concourse S1 which I have spent fortunes on and the only time she ever gets wet is when she gets washed. Does about 500-800 miles a year.
Having said that, I have never polished the underside of my car. I couldn't as she's covered in Waxoyl anyway as I believe preserving her is more important than having something else to polish ! I'm a dedicated polisher make no doubt, but I will only go so far. As for using an airgun to blow dust out - that's taking things a little too far IMO. Everyone to their own as Stu says and I'd shake the guy's hand for his dedication but..............

As per St3v3, when you wash an ECos, no matter how much you leather it off, you will ALWAYS get runs of water from the rear 1/4 windows aswell as down the boot from the lower spoiler and its a proper pain in the arse when you polish the car, cos water just keeps coming out and usually as you are wiping the poish OFF
BUT TBH I usually just go for a quick drive between washing and polishing
BUT seeing as I have a small compressor in the van!!!!!! ....................

I gotta say im shocked at some of the replies on this thread!
Many of you have fooking slagged the bloke! You havent just said that concours isnt your cuppa tea but literally pulled the guy apart!!! For what??????
If he gets pleasure out of it then why cant he do that! Im guessing that its Frank from ireland??? If so he could buy all your cars in one! So he probably does have one to rag about too. We all love cars, and we all love different things we do to em! He could be reading this right now and we suppost to be all fanatics together

I enjoy concours in the same way that i have close friends that enjoy giving their cars a good tonking. We don't take the piss out of each other though - i enjoy going out in their cars for a rag, and they often help me prepping mine at show time.
It's just a shame that fellow Ford enthusiasts can't appreciate the time and effort that's clearly gone into that car - if the owner is reading, i thought it looked great when i looked around it on Sunday

That is Framk's car and he does have several others
He turned up at our show in an Imperial blue Escort Cossie and he also owns a brand new Evo 8.
He probably had a look at the track and thought "Wat the fook is that all about, theres those guys ragging their cars to death then will moan when the blow it up"
Each to their own
