already dyno'd @ 336bhp and that was very low boost
btw its not bought yet subject to getting all the parts and the green light from dax for engine mounting lugs etc

You dont really need to go 4WD with that power.
2WD will be fine for that BHP and a lot more.
A decent suspension setup and sticky tyres on a 2WD would be OK.
I know mines a westy, not a dax, but thats my two pence worth.

Well mines 230ish at the moment, on normal tyres and traction is very good. It'll slide about if you want but the LSD means its got plenty of grip. With the dax you can run 9" rims as standard and there are plenty of big power cossied dax's out there. I think stu mapped a 500+ one a couple of years ago. The trouble with the quadra's is they've got great traction off the line but are quite a lot heavier and can tend to understeer a fair bit. I'd go 2wd and camber compensation at the front if you can afford it. Get yourself down to dax and get gary to give you a ride out in the v8 or the turbo busa.

A dax would be ideal, they do fit XE's now so mounts are no problem, you can get bellhousings for XE to T5 and IMHO they look the best of the 7 type cars, and designed to handle the power straightaway without having to put extra bracing round the diff mounts etc. They've got bias brakes as standard, 9" rears fit straight off etc etc.....
Just make sure they know what your putting in it
Oh and that looks like an ideal power / torque curve. Nice and smooth, some of the old style stage 3 chips with a huge boost spike at 3000rpm can be a bit of a handfull in such a light car.

Not 100% sure on power really but the engine spec should be good for 450+.
I run nice soft rear setup with Toyo R888 tyres and does not really struggle with grip.
