advice needed.....
Right doing a engine change on a mondeo st24 over the next couple of days... engine out and new engine in..
What is the best way to drop these engines out?????
I was thinking out the bottom as a compleate unit and struts.....
Any tips appreciated...
(ONLY PEOPLE WHO HAS WORKED ON THESE ENGINES PLEASE)

have fun
i've done a 2litre mondoe and a v6 coger engine .
the best way i've found is to drop the whole lot inc the steering rack ( undo it of the column in the car ) undo shock's subframe and lower
of couse there area few more bits to undo , but that is the way i've found to be best .
you will need a subframe locking kit for putting it back in thought aline it up

speak to steve (the youth off here) lawnsy, he breaks mondeo's, and when i was at his place last, he had a couple of v6 motors laying about, so i gather he's broke a few. im sure he'll be able to tell you the way to go.
