car is now back in my drive!

big thanks to Andy Robb for beingmy personal AVA taxi

the trip home was.........interesting as it holds a bit more boost

the power is now way more than before but not posting a graph until i have one with all paremeter on it. (later on in the week)

exhaust is maybe quieter than my magnex which im pleased about

we have had a few probs over the week and AVA have been flat out on the car so big thanks to them again!

will be having a proper go in the car the mora nite then back to AVA for a final check then there is only one destination

Thats the AVA boys on route home! Car never skipped a beat all day.

Well Done AVA for building a car that gets driven on the road a lot but can still do the biz on a runway, engine is bullet proof!

Ive obv been involved in this car wether i like it or not since the begining and the time and effort that has been put into it by Euan, AVA and Mark has been huge

i know your bro's car is rapid but i am more inclined to think it would be martin who has broke the main records.

dont need water injection..

my engine has never ever been heard detting

will be fitting a better intercooler for the next top speed runs but the charge temps we say while holding it flat on the run way were only slighty above what we expected.

the car has been tested at over 50 deg charge temps and was till safe as houses

fair do's but there's alot more to be had if you wanted it by fitting it.
some tuners like it some don't i suppose and personal preference.

AVA have tested water injection and th power DROPS everytime it is switched on..

only way to cure charge temp issues is to fit a bigger intercooler

its not the only way. as i said some tuners don't like it and don't know how to set it up, sounds to me they positioned the jet in the wrong place and/or wrong jet size and would need to be progressive at your power level.
power will drop @ the same ignition advance when using WI but you would beable to increase ignition angle alot and have huge gains without going near Det.
i.e without WI det could be 4 deg away, but with it 10 deg
