chill has nout to do with it,its paying a small fortune for legitamate cover that gets our back up,if you arnt registerd traders you should have a policy,its called fraud dear,and regardless of your fathers status they will get you for it one day,then please post it here so we can say "told you so"!!!!!

I am insured to drive any car on my own personal insurance anyway - The main reason traders was taken out was to tax the other cars TF you really do need to chill, every post i see you do, your hammering someone about not being a 'proper' trader

just finding my feet
motor trade policy is for people in the motortrade too though as im not covered to drive other cars on my insurance as i work at ford so i have to get a trade policy set up to get that
oh and if she drove into you and wasnt fully insured they would STILL pay you out mate but then would get the mpney back off faye,,,,,, ive seen cars with no engine mods ect that where modded and they been caught and they still got payed out,,,, just the guy who had the dogey policy got made to pay the cash back
oh and you cant get a vat bill unless customs have proof you aint paid the tax,,,,, cause if your mate wasnt a trader,,,,,,, how did they come to know he owes that amount and not 3 quid or 300k
and 6 months for no insurance is another load of bollox,,,, its a 200 quid fine and 6 points

what is the defenition of a trader? if you buy 12 cars a year, and flog them for little or no profit, then wheres the problem? Auto trader put you under a "trade" heading if you sell more than 4 cars in a 12 month period 
You don't have to have premesis to be a trader either do you? what about all the mobile mechanics etc? how are they meant to test drive cars etc if they havn't got trade insurance?
More to the point however, is what REALLY fucks me off, is why you can't apply your NCB to more than one car?

my wife deals with all of are paper work but i no i paid more again so i could let ppl sit beside me test drive the cars ppl think im mad paying what i do as there is only 2 of us but it worth it at ther mo i have a customers splitty van with me with an agreed value of 20 k so 3.5k a year is not alot to pay
to sell only 5 12k escort cossies in one year would put in the vat mans good books
im lucky compared to pual tim ect as my workshop is not worth as much as theres at any one time 50k depends what vans we have in there
at mo a 15 window split 9k 65 mint split 20 k restrored bay window 8k plus the other 3 sheds ans all my tools ect
again 3.5k is nothing
plus the 2 piles of crap i have for sale

even though if its booked in at my work i can drive any fucking car on my companys self insured policy and all ve got to do is when i crash get a copy from out admin department to confirm that they are self insured
how can you get a fine for non payment of income tax if you are not a trader,,,,, they cant prove you deserve the fine s YOUR NOT TRADING

faye has said shes had the policy for years, shes had a claim and never got asked to show her company cheque book
so why are you still saying you know of 3 people who personally have been that unlucky,,, you must know alot of fucking people as i know LOADS of fuckers about as i talk to loads of people and i eve know a mate whos been inspected by the vat people,,,,, he was inspected, nothing found BUT he was STILL inspected with mystery shoppers who purchase stuff and then write for proof of transaction on tha day,,,,, they done it 4 times to him over 3 fucking years AFTER he was found not guilty
but you got a mate who wasnt a trader and got a fine for non paymenyt of vat,,,,, even though he wasnt selling anything and not to mention he wouldnt have to register for vat due to the fact hes NOT trading but got fake insurance that he aint gonna take enough money to pay vat
your mate is either talking shite to you mate or you know th situation and its got fuck all relevence to do with joe public having a trade policy whilst having a job as a dental nurse
as said cause i work at fords im classed as being in the motor industry,,,, not to mention i deal with over 200 garages who purchace parts of me being that im a fucking parts rep and visit them to collect cheques and also make stock orders for them
do i qualify for that insurance then ???
oh and her other half alex is deffo in the trade,,,, as he works at another one of our branches,,,,,,, he runs the front counter on a parts department,,,, so think hes got proof hes in the trade
now please dont take this personal just think your being unfair on a situation you are not aware of all the details
