But I've seperated from my g/f this year, and i had thought she would be the one i'd marry and have kids with, we had even bought a house together.

My mates have really helped me out. Just make sure you make an effort to see them, even when you feel to shitty to go out and they'll make it easier for you to get through. I was lucky as my mates have been great, and i'd just started a new job so I had something to focus on, but even so, it's a tricky time.....keep your chin up and maybe hatch some more plans for the moter?
