Utter rubbish

I was hit in the passenger door a few years ago on an island by a turd who wasnt looking where he was pulling out, no witnesses. I refused 50:50 about three times and they eventually settled in full

You just have to be firm and stick to your guns
Hows a roundabout the same as someone pulling out on you from a side road

It would be quite obvious who was in the wrong if you where driving along and someone pulled out into you. This is a different matter, its one word again the other hence 50:50. I must admit though the way the driver is dragging there feet it looks like they have something to hide! Still no grounds to settle either way though

with it being a roundabout case it is always almost impossible to settle one way unless one party give in and accepts liability... but my point is that i am not prepared to be given £250 when the quotes for 3 garages i have are for £800+ so i want 50% of the cost to fix it at one of the 3 garages i chose!

my legal advisors dont want me to give in because it wasnt my fault and as stated before the woman has been useless and didnt even report it for 3 months!

the estimator was supposed to call me with an accurate quote this afternoon so if i dont hear from him then i will be straight on the phone to the insurance company in the morning moaning!

50/50 usually goes that your company pays for their damage and theirs pays for yours doesnt it?

thats what i thought... but apparently its they pay for 50% or my costs and my insurance pay for 50% of her costs... as neither of us are acepting liability so neither company will pay out 100%

stupid i think... if you're losing the no claims then they should just fix eachothers cars!

Cost me £300 to have a new front wing put on my one of my Saph's after some hit it in a car park and just drove off. This was without painting as we can do that ourselves.

Keep fiting with them the other partys probably hoping that you'll back down.

Ouch, not good Cheryl...

tbh it doesn't look that bad. I know it's a kick is the head (believe me i know) but on an overvire it could have been a lot lot worse!

Chin up!

Horrible this Hope it gets sorted soonish!

Mine's still waiting to go through the MIB (3 month backlog I've been told) because the lovely guy who drove into me didn't have any insurance. He now has the cheek to claim it was my fault! Why didn't he report it against me then? Oh I know, because he didn't look whilst reversing the wrong way over an arrow in a car park.. whilst my car was stationary with the handbrake on ..which is why my car's now 2'' shorter.

At least mine was an uninsured driver so I don't get any of the utter tripe offers of 50:50 for somebody elses poor driving...least it's all or nothing! Silly sods though, had they got it through quickly it'd have been just the £1350 costs...now it's over £1500 loss of use (5 months x £10 a day) alone without other costs for various stuff like posting/telephone costs/minimal other transport costs.
