Default my final year project, parp..

now then im in my last year of uni doing computer science (information systems) and i need to figure out what im going to do and make..i have to make a system of somesort that has an interface(a screen i.e. website, form), a database that holds lots of info which then connects together. Examples of this can be an online garage that you can book mot/servicing online or an online movie rental store, or computerising a small shop...

now, what i was thinking was doing it on engine mapping software, it has an interface where the operator would see but not sure what else is would have behind it, a database of cars?

not too sure as i would like to do it car related

whats your views?

A dedicated online used car sales site?

Interface = Virtual car showroom on a web page.

Data base = Stock of cars with spec and condition of all cars.
Online purchase, delivery arrangements etc.

.

i done this type of project when i was doing my national diploma.

I created the project in VB with an access database interface. I basically had a database of used cars and a database of people looking for certain cars or cars with certain traits eg. powersteering, coupe, hot hatch etc.

My program would then match people requirements for a car to cars that match their criteria .

It was pretty simple but you dont wanna get to overly complicated with this kinda of porject
